Carnegie Museum

Located in the original 1912 Carnegie Library building, today the Carnegie Museum houses exhibits on local and regional history. Tours, including a walking tour of historic Roseville are available by appointment. Operated by the Roseville Historical Society.
Griffith Quarry

The surrounding 23-acre park contains ruins of the first polishing mill built in California and some of the quarry holes from which the unique Penryn granite was taken.
Gold Country Museum

Maidu Interpretive Center

The nature area offers a loop trail that takes you past ancient petroglyphs (rock art), hundreds of bedrock mortars (acorn grinding holes), evidence of Nisenan (southern Maidu) occupation of the site for thousands of years. Inside the museum you'll find exhibits portraying the Maidu way of life.

Roseville Utility Exploration Center

The Exploration Center is a key component of the site and will be a one-of-a-kind center offering an exciting new take on preserving our natural resources and protecting our environment through new technologies and conservation measures in energy efficiency, water conservation, recycling, water quality and environmentally sustainable building materials. When completed, the Exploration Center will offer children and adults fun and interactive tools for learning.
