Did you know, Lake Natoma, home to the popular Sac State Aquatic Center, has been named one of the best places in the nation for rowing?
The Sac State Aquatic Center hosts many special events throughout the year. Some events include rowing, kayaking, sailing and triathlon races. Most events this year will be take place at Nimbus Flat State Park. Check the schedule below for 2025 events.

March 9th: Capital Crew League Race
March 15-16th: Hornet Invite (Sunday - Racing ONLY 8-10am)

April 12th: Capital Crew League Race & Senior Day
April 25-27th: Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship (WIRA)
May 1-4th: Southwest Youth Rowing Championship
May 16-17th: West Coast Conference Championships
May 17th: GNAC Rowing Championships
May 18th: Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rowing Championships (MPSF)
August 23rd: Hornet Day at the Lake
October 25th: Head of American Regatta
